The New Haircut!!
On Saturday, Gabe finally got her hair cut! This was her first "official" haircut done in a salon. She was so excited afterwards and walked around like a proud little peacock! I think she looks adorable and that it fits her so well! P.S. I didn't even say a word to get Gabe to do these poses,..they happened in like 3 seconds and she made them all up on her own!

Little Pip.

Here are some more random pictures of Piper. She is just starting to really focus on things more and tune into who is talking. She also loves to eat! So far she has gained over 1lb and 7 oz in a month! She is definitely my child when it comes to eating..ha!Monday, December 14, 2009
She is here!!!

We welcomed Piper Wren McDaniel into this world, yesterday at 9am!! We are so excited she decided to finally come! She was smaller than I ever thought she would be, weighing in at 5lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long. She is a little firecracker already and can turn a bright red when she gets really hungry. he! Luckily, Ren flew in Saturday night and was able to be here for her birth, which is all I could have ever asked for! I am so, so, so, so happy he made it safely and was here in time. :)
The delivery:
I started having contractions around 1:20am Sunday morning and decided to head to the American Fork Hospital around 4:30am. We got to the hospital around 4:45am and they decided to keep me since I was already dialated to a 5 1/2. I had some major back labor and got an epidural, which was heavenly, around 6:15am. After the epidural, I had some green jello,...which is very important, since we hadn't had any breakfast and I was losing energy fast. ha! At about 8:35am my water broke and after pushing for 15 min. she was born at 9am! Everything went really, really well and we are so blessed that she is a healthy little gal!

Christmas Time at the Brey's!
Home for the holidays!

One thing I love about being home with family for the holiday's, are all the fun decorations that have been gathered over the years! Growing up, my Dad would always put up this fun little village for us to all gaze at...some years he would put it up, and other's he didn't. It would take a lot of work and effort to lay out the design, make the wood structure underneath, and wire all the lights, etc. I was so excited when he said he was going to be putting up the "Dicken's Village" again this year! I knew that Gabe would love looking at all the little people, just like I did when I was a kid. So I thought I would post some pictures of how incredibly lovely our living room is. One of my favorite things is to turn off all the lights, except for the Christmas ones, and relax in our living room. Wednesday, December 2, 2009
Remembering Christmas in Grenada..
I ran across this picture the other day and I couldn't believe that it has already been almost a year, since our last Christmas when we spent it in Grenada! Wow! Time does fly,...sometimes. ha! I loved this picture and how bright it was...only 10 more days until Ren is back with us!! YAHOO!!

Many Thanks!!
The whole gang!
Last night, some of our extended family got together for a mini family reunion at the Olive Garden. It was so neat seeing our cousins and other family memebers who we haven't seen in over 10 years!! Crazy, I know! I think the kids will never forget Uncle Cole and his magic button on his hand....everytime they pushed it his leg or arm would fly up! Needless to say, they chased him around the rest of the night trying to push the "magic button!" Ha! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
