We spent a day at the Belmont Estates Chocolate factory a little bit ago! They make Grenada's chocolate! Gabe was really excited to walk through the beans again and to taste the chocolate.

If you look closely, you will see the showercap, and then if you look far away, you will still see the pot-bellies.
We took a trip to Bathway Beach while Sandi was with us! It is such a beautiful beach! It was a little cloudy when we went, but still it was a lot of fun! The last picture is of an house, that must have been hit by Hurricane Ivan. I am sure it was so beautiful in it's day, and Ren & I wish we could buy it and fix it up!
One of my favorite parts of this beach day, were the other people on the beach with us. Some of them included the usual, fat, pot-bellied old men with speedo's, & my ultimate favorite was the clear, showercap lady. She is actually in one of my pictures in the background, strolling into the water. She was very at peace and walked very slowly into the roaring waves. Thank goodness for that showercap.
Fort George with Nanna!

We told Gabe to make a "shooting a cannon" face and this is what we got. (P.S. Gabe is getting a haircut tomorrow.)
Ahhh. Nothing like a backless chair on the top of a fort by a cliff.
You would never notice this little guy, unless you looked really hard. He was right next to the ironing board, broken toliet seat and other junk.

Yesterday, we went to Fort George and walked around! The view was beautiful and the cannon's were pretty cool too. During out trip there, I decided to bring some of my laundry so I could hang it up to dry while we walked around. I mean, hey....why not? ha! Actually, I really think someone was living up there in the fort somewhere and thought it was a good, airy day to hang up some boxers.

Well, I am sooo happy to say that we have finally had FAMILY PICTURES taken!! Yeah! This is the first time we have ever had them taken and I am so excited! My good friend, Sara Weir took these for us and I just want to tell her that I love them! She did such a wonderful job! Thanks Sara!!

Luckily, Santa Claus knew where Grenada was and decided to come to our house for Christmas! Gabe was pretty excited! It was fun just being together in our little apartment, in Grenada, not really having any big plans and places to go. Our most important event of the day was building a sandcastle and relaxing on the beach. It was a perfect day and one that we will always remember.

I think this Santa had a broken arm.
You can't see it in this picture, but my favorite part was the roof and the ground the figures are standing in,...they are all covered in white, painted, palm tree leaves.
This picture didn't do it justice.
We went out the other night to go look at the lights in Grenada. The first picture is a little deceiving, not because it isn't that beautiful to look at, because it is, but because that & one other place are the only places lit up in Grenada for Christmas. And, the best part about it, is that they can only turn their lights on on certain nights, so they don't blackout the whole town nearby. Ahhh, Grenada. Luckily, we caught a night when they were on, so we went walking about and enjoyed the incredible exhibit!
We also decided Christmas wasn't exactly Christmas, without some good ol' stockings. So we decided to get crafty and make our own out of construction paper! It was so much fun and I have to say, my husband has some mad stockin skills. Look at that beautiful christmas tree! Sorry you can't see them better. Mine says "I love Santa" and Ren's says "Loot Sock" & "No oranges."(Ren & I were laughing a little at Gabe's cute little blob marks. Maybe we are the meanest parents in the world, but we thought they looked like bird poo markings,...so Ren added one to his stocking. I know it looks like an egg, but it is supposed to be a bird poo marking. Ha!)
