Belmont Estates!

We went to the Belmont Estates yesterday and had a really fun time! The bus ride up wasn't as fun (Gabe threw up right when we got off), but besides that, it was neat to see how they make chocolate in Grenada! We also got to see some turtles, a monkey, a parrot named Rainbow and an iguana! Gabe loved the parrot! Probably because he could sing Happy Birthday to you. The process of making chocolate takes quite a while. The Grenadians still walk through the cocoa beans to shift them around so they all get the proper sunlight and dry evenly. That's what Gabe & I are doing in the last picture! (The two men in the stalls were rotating the cocoa beans during the fermentation process.)

Here are some more pictures of Sara. They have a different feel to them, almost ethereal. They are a little of a stretch for me, but I think it is good to try new things! I hope you like them! My first real gift!

So, this is my first real gift that I am going to give to some friends of mine to frame and give to their parents! It is going to be for their anniversary, and I hope they like it! I feel like I have put a tiny dent in the wall of the photography world. A very small dent. But still, a dent. he.

Bali Hi, the closing social!

We had a really fun day today! It was the end of the term, closing social and we played out in the sun from 11am-3:30! We swam, ate yummy food, and rode on the water weenie! The picture of Ting, is a major staple of our favorite drink in Grenada. It is so good, and is a guarantee at any of the "SO" parties!! The other picture is of darling Sofia. She has the most beautiful brown eyes. Soon, I will post some more pictures!

St. George University!

Vet Animal Farm!

On Saturday we were excited to go to the animal farm at the Veterinary School! It was fun feeding the donkeys, horses & goats! We also got to pet the bull. He made me a little nervous, though. The horse in the picture would not stop following us! I think he really wanted some more apples. Our favorite was the baby goat that we got to hold!

Learning new tricks!

So lately, Sara Weir and I have been learning some new things about photography! She was kind enough to show me how to do a watermark for my pictures! We are often telling each other new things we have found out online or just by trial and error. Anyways, these are some pictures I took of some friends of mine. I hope they don't mind me posting them on here! I think they are such a beautiful couple!
