About two weeks ago, we had our Markling Family Reunion! We had family come from all over, including Alaska, Colorado & Las Vegas to name a few. It was so much fun hanging out in the mountains with some family members we haven't seen in over 10 years! We played horseshoe's, rode 4 wheelers, went hiking through Bryce Canyon and had a hoot watching "Duck Creek Days", which just so happens to be the biggest thing to hit that neck of the woods the entire year. Our motel, (yes we stayed in a motel without any air conditioning in the middle of July) was right across the street from all the excitement of the festivities going on. Needless to say, we didn't sleep very well while trying to cool off with our windows open, listening to the terrible band called "The Muddy Boots" playing all night long. Still, we had a fun time! Life just wouldn't be the same without family reunions.
