Past due!

I have been wanting to post these pictures of different things going on here in NJ, but never got around to it until now! Sorry they are so late! (warning: there are a lot of pictures.)

This picture was taken soon after arriving in Jersey, with our very first piece of furniture! It was very momentous! It had been a long, hard day folks & we were more than happy to sink into our new, comfy couch!
(Oh and we have a new son...actually it is Gabe's cousin Finn.)

Our living room as it was slowly coming together!

The kids area! I will always be happy I bought this table!
Gabe uses it everyday!

I am so excited about these fun "float" wraps! I also am offering them
through my photography!

Piper at 9 1/2 months!

Ren just got a karate chop from Gabe.

Piper's favorite fall hat...and mine too.

We love apples, (or maybe it's just because I love this certain
apple toffee dip recipe my sister gave me)
either way
we had to go to another apple farm and pick some apples!

Gabe & Ethan

This is where we found our beauty of a pumpkin.
He's that one...right there!

I have no idea why they did that.

This picture actually really scares me. I have never seen that face before on Gabe.
Hopefully, I won't ever again. ha!

Our Halloween pumpkin!
(It got moldy after about 5 days. He couldn't cut the Jersey humidity!)

Gabe's principal at their school's Halloween parade walk.

Gabe was a witch this year!

Ethan gives it a thumbs up.

And, I had to include Michael Jackson. I think this was
the best Michael Jackson costume I have seen!

Gabe at Tanelle's Halloween party!

Here comes Dyson...(to the left Dyson, the left.)

Someone is excited to be a lion!!

Well hello there little mermaid. (we did two costumes for
Gabe this year, since this was her last year's costume.)

Posing all too well.

AHHHH!! Who is that scary lady who looks like a crippled bat?

Too cute.

At a get together with some of our friends, at the Liberty State Park in NJ.

Looking across the water at NY!

Some of our buds! Sorry, this shot is so far away!

My first shoot in New York!

DUMBO, originally uploaded by Casey McDaniel.

On Tuesday, I went into the big city to do my first couple's shoot! Honestly, it was pretty scary driving into the city by myself, but luckily everything went pretty smoothly! I even got a discount at the parking place! Yeah! The couple I went with were such troopers and showed me around the "DUMBO" area, which has so many cool spots to take pictures! If you would like to see more from their shoot just click here.

Sanding the kitchen table..

Who knew that sanding and re-painting the kitchen table could turn
into a writing lesson?

(Since it's almost Halloween, I thought it would
be fun to process these a little darker.)

We decide to re-sand our kitchen table and paint it black, so Gabe being the helper that she is, wanted to paint with Dad and it turned out to be (as my Dad would say) a good "teaching moment!" To see more pictures from today, click here.

Let's pretend..

The other day Gabe & Ethan were playing pretend firefighters..and I glanced over to see this scene unfolding. Since I was too far to hear what was actually going on, I am going to take a stab at how it played out in my mind..

(Gabe, aka. Miss Bossy) - "Like this Ethan! Put your hands like this!!"

(Gabe) - "Ethan come back here!"

(Gabe) - "EETTHHAAANN!!"

Playing outside

Ohh, the life of a 5 year old.

The Crayola Factory!

Hard at work!

Little Witch

Gabe in the wax area!

I know this looks a little ghetto, but it was actually kind of cool...this is the area
where the kids can paint with wax, so it is a little messy and
since it is the crayola factory, I guess everyone has to draw on everything!

Watercolor area

Wax area (again)

"pretty farmer"

"Screamin' farmer"

"Po-dunk" farmer

Piper's contribution.

Molding the magic clay (you can paint or color it after you mold it!)

Daddy was pretty into it too!

Some of our masterpieces!

Crayons GALORE!

A box of 1903 crayons.

Glow in the dark coloring!

"How a crayon is made" room

Ren writing on the wall!

Today we went to the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA. It was so much fun drawing on walls, modeling magic clay & getting free crayons & markers, to name a few! Gabe loves to draw and usually colors or paints at least 8 pictures a day, so she was having a hay day!
